Sewing Classes
Make Pajama Pants! Learn the basics of reading a pattern, threading a machine & learn about fabrics. Cut patterns & fabric, pin pants together. Continue to finish sewing pants. Learning hemming & how to shorten pants or dresses. Duration: 4 weeks - $250 (includes materials) - Sewing supplies available for extra fee * Limit four people per class *
Embroidery Classes
Embroidery patches - Repairing holes in sweaters & clothing. Embellishing clothing. Learning a variety of stitches: Sashiko embroidery - Japanese stitching for decoration Trapundo - quilted embroidery pictures. Inked fabric patches with embroidery stitching. Duration: 6 weeks - $350 (includes materials) *Limit 6 people*
Card-Making Class
Learn various water color techniques for making greeting cards including: embellishments, stitching, collage & other art techniques. You will leave each class with at least one or more cards. Duration: 6 week class - $350.00 *Limit 6 people* (includes supplies).
Pottery Class
Hand built - No wheel. Learn how to hand build stoneware clay. You will hand build various projects such as bowls, butter dish, plaques, platters and more. I will bisque fire them and you will glaze them and I will fire them again. You will have finalized projects after your class is completed. Duration: 6 week class - $400 *Limit 6 people*(includes supplies).
Jewelry Making Workshop
You will have access to my fabulous collection of unique Asian beads, coins, semi precious stones & more. Collected during my design trips to the Orient. Design your own creation & depending what materials you choose I will charge a reasonable fee for the materials. Fee price will be determined before you construct it & after you design it. You will go home with a beautiful necklace or bracelet & a pair of earrings. Duration: Day or Evening - $50 *Limit 6 people per class* (Materials are extra fee).
Collage Workshop
I will provide a variety of various papers to choose from & will be able to incorporate water colors and markers to create a frame-able piece of art you will be very proud of. Duration: Day or Evening, 2 hour class - $60 *Limit 6 people per class*(Supplies included).
Vision Board Workshop
Short mediation & fill out questionnaire. Go through magazines & paste up your board. Share your visions! Bring personal photos if desired. Duration: One day workshop, 3 hours - $75 *Limit 6 people per class* (Includes Materials)
Kids Craft Class
Each week we will explore various craft projects including upcyled materials, water color painting, simple sewing projects, air dried clay and more! Duration: 6 week class - $200 *Limit 6 people* (includes supplies).
Floor Cloth Painting
Make a floor cloth rug or placemats. Learn how to finish backing of rug with rubber non-slip padding. Great for any space! Duration: 6 week class using canvas & acrylic paints - $400 *Limit 4 people per class* (Supplies included)
Paper Flower Making Workshop
Get ready to have a variety of types of flowers to make from, cup cake papers, chop sticks, floral tape and silk leaves. You have a variety of patterns and colors to choose from. Leave with three beautiful hand made flowers! Duration: Day or Evening, 2 hour class - $50 *Limit 6 people per class, plus a $5 supply fee*
Upcycle Sewing Workshop
You will have a variety of various fabrics & jeans to choose from. Create a bag, apron, wall hanging or other piece from up-cycled jeans & clothing. You can bring your own favorite clothing if you want to incorporate it into your project. Duration: 2 days, 2 hours *Limit 4 people per class*(supplies included) - $150.
