Potter's  Guild of NJ Semi Annual Pottery Show

Jewelry Making Workshop:

Dates: 10/3, 10/ 12, 10/22

Times: 7pm-9pm

You will have access to Suzi's fabulous collection of Asian
beads, coins, semi-precious stones, and more that were
collected during her design trips to the Orient. You will take
home a necklace or bracelet and a pair of earrings that you've created with these unique and exotic supplies.
Charges will be based on your selected materials 
Limit 6 people per workshop.
2-hour workshop: $25.00 per class + materials selected (very affordable and reasonable fee for these amazing supplies)

Doodle Days/ Drop In Art Days:

Dates:  9/29, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20, 10/27

Time: 11am-4pm

Come and play with Jeanne Stella at Dream Maker’s Art
Studio. Bring your own supplies or just a sketchbook and use our supplies.  Sit in a fun creative environment and create your art

with other artists fellow artists.

Beginner Adult Sewing Classes:

Dates: 10/6, 10/13,10/20,10/27

Times: 7pm-9pm

​

Starts off with a shopping trip to JoAnn fabrics to learn how
to buy and shop for patterns, supplies and fabric. Learn
how to use a sewing machine to make a simple pair of
pajama pants. This will teach you the basics of machine
sewing, understanding of patterns and learning how to sew
both by hand and by machine. Bring your own machine or
use one of ours. You will buy your own fabric, pattern and
notions. Limit 4 people per class.
Four nights 2 hour workshop: $125.00

Children’s Art Class:

Dates (ages 3-6) 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24.   

Times: 3:30pm-5:30pm

Dates (ages 6-12): 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26

Four weeks of classes are limited to 6 children per class.
There will be age-appropriate craft, art and music activities and
they will come home with a finished project every week.
Ages 3-6 and 6-12. If you are interested in teen classes let
the studio know of your interest and if we have enough students

we can schedule a teen courses.

Vision Board Workshop:

2 Sessions -Dates: 9/26 or 10/14

Time: 7pm-9pm

A two hour workshop where you will cut, paste and decorate
a vision board for yourself. All materials will be provided
and you will go home with an inspiring finished creation.
Limit 6 people.
One two hour workshop: $25.00

Fabric & Home Decor Painting:

Date: 9/28

Times: 7pm-9pm

Stamping and painting your choice of home decor
potholders, You can bring a piece of clothing or other
objects you would like to hand paint. Pot holders and
utensils will be included in the price of the class.

Acrylic Painting Class

Dates: 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1

Times: 7pm-9pm

Four-week class teaching color theory and acrylic painting techniques. You will take home your own finished masterpiece!
Adult Class
Class Fee $150
+$20 Supply Fee (unless you bring your own paint, canvas, and brushes)

Watercolor Painting Class

Four-week class 

Dates: 9/10, 9/17, 9/21, 10/1

Times: 2pm-4pm

Come and learn the fundamentals of painting with
watercolors. You will learn about different papers,
brushes, and how to apply your paints. You will be
introduced to color theory and composition. You will leave
after four weeks with your own finished masterpiece. Limit
6 people to the class.
Four-week class $150.00
$20. supply fee if you do not bring your own paint and 
paper.

Introduction to Essential Oils

Come and learn about the physical, emotional, and spiritual
effects of nature's gift to us. We will learn what single oils
and blends are used for and how they can enhance our well-being. You will make a bath salt to take home.

Teacher Biographies

Suzi Gerace

She is the founder of Dream Maker’s Art Studio which was
founded in December of 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Science
in Fashion Design from Drexel University and has had experience
working in the Fashion and Toy Industry or over 40 years. She
has a passion to share her enthusiasm and creativity. We are all
artists designing our lives each and every day. Come and play
with us.

Jeanne Stella

Talented artist, feminist & political activist who is an avid volunteer at the Closter’s Mac Bain Farm, Dream Maker’s Art Studio, and the Art School at Old Church. Drop in and hang out with her on Thursday’s anytime between 11-4. Bring your sketchbook or project you are working on including knitting and crocheting. We have lots of markers and colored pencils.

Margaret Durbeck

Pop Artist!!! Holding a BA degree in Fine Arts and never stood
learning about art. At the age of 50 she started to draw and paint again and is a member of the Hackensack Art Club. Born in NYC artists Kenny Scharf, Keith Haring, & Sohpie Taeuber-Arp , and neighbor Joe LaMattina are her influences. Start When Your Old!

Sheri Mesick

Artist, painter, and illustrator specializing in custom fashion
illustration portraits. She has an associate's degree in commercial art from the Ridgewood School of Art specializing in painting, life drawing, watercolor and fashion illustration. Painting on clothing and bags is her current passion. Visit her on Instagram @lilartist24studio or her Etsy shop.
